For almost 30 years, primion has been the innovative system supplier and customer-oriented service provider for integrated access control, time & attendance and security management. primion develops, manufactures and installs all the components for the systems itself and is represented throughout Europe by its own subsidiaries. From the initial consultation, through the planning concept, to the on-site installation and services such as hotline, support and maintenance contract, primion offers all services from a single source.
From simple locking systems to highly complex security solutions primion has powerful and innovative software and hardware that protects against unwanted access. Lost access cards can be blocked immediately, and it is possible to trace at any time who has which access authorisation, or whether attempts have been made to manipulate authorisations in order to gain unlawful access to protected areas. One of primion's largest customers manages 19,000 employees in one system. External workers and visitors are added to this, so that 25,000 badges are in circulation, generating over 22 million booking transactions per year, which are logged and managed. Another company has a primion system in use, with which 8,000 users use individual access authorisations on almost 26,000 reader units that are managed online. primion also offers suitable solutions for small and medium-sized companies.
Security systems such as intrusion or fire alarm systems with video technology, voice alarms and automatic fault messages and much more are clearly managed and controlled on one platform. The Physical Security Information Management pSM (prime SecurityManagement) provides all the necessary information. If, for example, the fire detector reports smoke development, the person in charge immediately receives all the information on the screen: Fire doors close, escape routes open, the voice alarm for the emergency is activated and rescue forces are alerted.
The quality of the products and services in the area of access control, time & attendance and security technology has a high priority at primion. Work is constantly being done to improve processes and thus optimise products and services. primion has a certified management system for quality in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, for the environment in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001:2015, for information security in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 27001:2017 and for IT service management in accordance with ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018. primion is currently the only company in Germany with ISO/IEC 27001:2017 certification for information security in the area of "Time & Security".
